Re: Dupin baroque/modern oboe???

It is this one, but I saw a boxwood version of it. The boxwood is called the Mozart and the blackwood (available in PVC upper joint) is called the Imperial. What's great about that picture is the close-up of the reed! Not even close to anything I've ever seen described on the web. I have experimented with what looks like that. I'll have to try it again as my general process has led me away from it.

I've read really good things about Dupin in general putting it far above Loree with a sound on par with Marigaux and tuning and mechanism to beat pretty much everyone else.

But I'd be curious to get the feedback from anyone who has played ANY Dupin, especially the Imperial. I'm also curious to compare it with Ludwig Frank, as he makes Albrecht Mayer's custom instruments.
