I have tried again and again to register my stolen instruments on that database, but always just get back errors. Months ago, when my first instruments were stolen, the database entry form wasn't even available. I emailed people at IDRS about it but never got a satisfactory response. Months later, the form was again available, but only returned errors. I suppose I should have emailed the IDRS people about it again, but I wasn't encouraged by the original response. Maybe they've fixed it by now, I should try again. But I wish it were as easy to register a stolen instrument as it sounds.
