Two sources of good EH reeds, in my experience, are the blue-thread professional style from Nielsen, and the reeds made by Crystal Stohr Hall of Reed Monster (Google it!). Crystal is a professional English Horn player, and her reeds hold up a really long time. I probably adjust them a little, but they are strong and sound good.

As far as the blue-thread from Nielsen, they had very nice tone and were very easy to play.
