Hi Bob!
Why still bother with shaper tips, when the flatbed shaper is much more precise, regardless of cane quality and easy to produce too?
It's no wonder that nearly all professionals I know of has changed to flatbed shapers within the past 10 years.

I had great plans about converting old shapes some years ago, but had to give it up because I changed workplace, and could no longer access the neccessary equipment. Please take a look at http://www.oboetube.com/reedshape_folder
