I recently purchased an IY series Loree' Oboe for a bargain! However, upon attempting to re break-in I have had a few cracks arise. The first two were noticed right after I purchased the oboe (they are stress cracks at the tenon joints). The next, is in the upper joint and is probably the worst of the three. I have tried to attach pictures that show the crack(s). Anyway, my question is... Where is the BEST place to send an oboe for crack repair. I don't want a sloppy half-way job. I want to hear who is the BEST oboe crack repairman/woman in the United States. It will probably also need a small overhaul. Look forward to hearing from you!
