... is there already an oboist's yellow pages kind of resource that links oboist in instrument (or reed) crisis with emergency repairs / new reeds anywhere they find themselves in dire need in the usual music circuits internationally?

well yes, this does gets about by word of mouth among musicians already, but if there was an organized resource site online or international phone number where a travelling oboist could dial up in a crisis to find the nearest help near them at the time ...?
