... usually this condition means the reed's 'collapsed' ... but ... how many playing hours do you estimate it has done already, and what hardness was it to begin with? Medium, softer or harder? And how desperate are you to keep using it ???
The answer to these questions will determine whether it's even worth your while bothering to fix it, i can think of 4 possible fixes that might help, temporarily
If you figure it's old (10+ playing hours) and it's a Medium, snap it at once, salvage the tube, and get yourself 3 new reeds ASAP for this New Year
If it's young (-5 hrs) and you have reed tools, and fancy trying to fix it just for the fun, or learning what to do, post again
