I do find my Signet Soloist (104) a wholly reliable and dependable back-up instrument.

One gripe I have with it is using the high B-C# trill key (8ve2 xo'o|ooo) as the underside of my index finger knuckle fouls the B-C# trill key cup arm and linkage while holding the 2nd 8ve key down, so the trill key doesn't always close. I may need to fit a better 2nd 8ve touchpiece, one that is set higher from the key barrel.

The opinions I express are my own.
