Ouch! I'm going to ignore all references to horns!
Remember that the score is either an exact copy of the original, or very close. That's why it's not copyright. Perhaps they wrote all horns in Bb and left it to the player to sort out any transposing.
Re. measure 10, well, look carefully and you'll see that this phrase is the same for all instruments. When you listen to the music, it's impossible to hear the oboes above the violins, violas and cellos.
Quite frankly, the oboists could play whatever they wanted and you wouldn''t hear it! They could put their feet up, switch on the tv, make some coffee...
It's the strings making all the noise here.
I've been to enough amateur performances to realise that you can miss out half the notes and the audience will never notice!
I think over 90% missed notes, they do start to realise that something's not quite right!
But they're far too polite to say anything!
