 P. Angelo, anyone?

Hi everyone,

A good friend lent me her shaper (which she doesn't use, and hasn't since college). It is proving quite successful, though it still is not as narrow as I would like.

The shaper has no distinguishing marks at all. The handle (they were purchased together several decades ago) has "P. Angelo" stamped on the side.

Reeds shaped on this shaper tie on extremely long, I would say ~2.5 mm longer than a RDG#1. dimensions are similar to a RDG #1 but with less belly, and a gentler gradation down to the staple.

Has anybody heard of a "P. Angelo" shaper tip?

Thanks,
J.
