Yes, sliding RH4 is what I do for things like this (there's something like that in Copland's "Billy the Kid" and also in that WW5 "Roaring Fork" by Eric Ewazen). Some people advocate hitting the B or Bb key with the middle part of LH4 and then rocking to the left-hand Eb key from there, but I've never gotten that to work as smoothly as simply sliding between the low-C and Eb keys with RH4.
