Ah, yes of course you are correct.
Kitty-kitty as pronounced in Middle America would be a lot like if you said "kiddy-kiddy." However having visited places where the T's would be aspirated even in the middle of the sentence...yep. I should have used kiddy kiddy except then someone would have told me not to use a D for the tongued syllable. Much better to have it in person from a teacher, eh?
