let's get more specific to help target likely problem area?

what note going down the pipe do you find it starts to get difficult, as compared to the ease of the others above it? Is the note below the 'starting to get difficult' impossible, or do-able with a lot of effort?

check the joint seals are firm, not wiggly, no cork missing = not leaking any air there?

do a suction 'vacuum' test on top joint, is there a satisfactory 'pop'?
If so, the problem's more likely in the middle joint (depending on the difficult note)

Do a cig paper test on the middle joint keys and all pads -- are any pressing 'very soft' so cig paper slides out easily?
