... wow! this is one very popular melody
i've been 'studying' various renditions of this lovely melody and of Sarah Brightman's song Nella Fantasia on youtube -- so many instrumentalists, bands, vocalists and choirs do it, the viewing numbers and the many comments indicate that it's so meaningful to multitudes of people
and then i try practicing it once through again ... one fine day maybe my so-so technique will match my expectations -- it's quite daunting after hearing so many beautiful versions of it, it's almost a sacred thing already, too special to practice over-much, if you know what i mean?
how do you folks like to interpret the first and second repeats?
i'm thinking along the lines of first repeat as 'unenlightened' before the quest, the searching with deep longing for revelation, which emotes a kind of urgency from an aching emptiness that needs to be filled, and the second repeat as 'enlightened', understanding with clarity and profound meaning, basking in its glory, inspired by it, which emotes sublime exultation and profound inner peace
how do you folks like to interpret / emote this melody when you play it?
