 If you have the LH Eb key touch fitting well in the hollow of the underside of the G# key, you can press both at the same time. It does take some doing as you're pressing near the pivot of the G# key, but it's possible to hold both keys down with the one finger.
 
 I haven't done this for ages - I used to do it all the time on my first oboe (when I was 14) to get around playing in flat keys, though for some reason I stopped doing this when I took it up again.
