I have an old Loree Oboe that I am thinking of putting on ebay. I bought the oboe in a garage sale about 10 years ago from someone who knew nothing about it. I don't play, but tried to teach myself for a while. It seems to play fine, and there are no visible cracks.
I am thinking of taking it into the shop to have it repadded, corked, polished, etc in order to sell. But, I have no idea what it might be worth if in good working order. Also, is there anything that I should be aware of that might make it 'worthless'? Thanks -
Also - how much should I expect to pay for an overhaul on the oboe?
