Looking for a R13 Tech in Portland OR/Vancouver WA

Hello,

Does anyone recommend a good tech for servicing an R13 Clarinet that is near the Vancouver Wa or Portland OR area? I have noticed that there are some Buffet dealers around that area that I'm sure service R13's all the time, but I would prefer to use a technician that has been recommended by others.

Hello Sam,
I don't think there is an "R13 tech"- any good clarinet/woodwind specialist should be able to service an R13 or any other make/model.
If yours needs a replacement key then going to a Buffet dealer may be a good idea, otherwise I'd look for a tech with good reputation.

After a quick search, I found Tony's Instrument Repair & Sales and Berkvam WindWorks, both in Portland. Both places have good Google ratings.

Late reply...but I can recommend Jason at Tigard Music. He rebuilt my mid-90s R13 recently and did an excellent job. He's done minor repairs for me in the past too.
