What does that mean? They are both clarinet reeds, so obviously they ARE substitutes for each other in the basic functional sense. Are the VK1 and French Cut so vastly different in response, tone, or other playing characteristic that you believe them to have nonoverlapping musical applications? If so, could you please elaborate?
