Last night I played in two Christmas concerts. I asked my friend who was playing principal what kind of mouthpiece he was using because he sounded really quite good on it. He told me it was a "Robert." I have not heard of this brand before. Does anyone have any information on them? Who made them? Time frame in which they were made? Any players who used them? Thanks in advance.

You should chat with Brad Behn about it. They are as well renown and respected (and from same period) as the Cheddevilles.

Like many from that era, these were made on Chedeville blanks. Brad has info on his site
