Also a wonderful testimonial for the AEA active ribbon microphone.
Sounds awesome though I wish he'd leave a bit more distance between himself and the microphone. As recorded, a wonderfully euphonic sound but a tad dry at that distance.

Tour de force indeed!
Thank you for bringing this video performance to my attention!! I can't say enough good things about it. I rarely sit down at my computer and watch a performance straight through, especially when I'm not planning to, but I was completely sucked in.
The variety of music, the quality of performance, and the concept/production values were simply fantastic!
Bravo to Franch-Ballester, his colleagues, and his students!
