I have tons of these performances. I haven't gone through them all, but I'll post the ones I think are really good. Today I put up the whole Ginastera Variations and a live Till Eulenspiegel. The Till is really great, and very exciting to hear. There's a gliss in the Eb solo at the end. It's amazing.
By the way, everything I'll upload is live and not what you have on your recordings.
Coming soon: Dvorak Cello Concerto, Shepherd on the Rock, Mozart Sinfonia Concertante, Shostakovich 10, Ravel Tombeau, and many more!

I just put up the Shepherd on the Rock.
It'll take me a while to do these because for most of them, I have all the tracks split up with the radio announcements which I think are terribly interesting to hear. I have Szell's last performance along with an interview of him that's worth hearing.
As I'm looking over what I have, it's a little overwhelming.
Get this: I have two separate performances of the Mozart Sinfonia Concertante from the same night! What in the world were they doing that for I wonder.
I'll take any special requests also. I don't have everything that was ever performed, but most of the big works are in there, even some oddball things like Walton's Façade or Milhaud's Creation of the World. Wanna hear Marcellus play Creation du Monde? Just wait...

Great idea Dave.
A few requests, in case you have them:
Debussy Premiere Rhapsodie
Copland Concerto (when I studied with Marcellus in the 90s, he mentioned a live recording of the Copland)
Schubert Octet, arranged for string orchestra (by Szell?) and single winds.
Thanks in advance for what you upload,
Simon

Simon,
I don't have the Copland. :(
I do have the Debussy, maybe two performances of it. I'll upload that today.
The Schubert Octet was released commercially. I don't have that one.
I'll upload the Bourgiose Gentilhomme in a few minutes.

I just uploaded 3 performances of the Debussy Rhapsodie with Robert Marcellus.
Also, just put up a Dances of Galanta with the Cleveland Orchestra and Marcellus on the solos. It is amazing. The whole orchestra is full of so much energy.
The Bourgeouis Gentlehomme and the Creation du Monde are also uploaded.
Coming soon is Rachmaninov Symphony #2 and Nielsen Symphony #5.
enjoy!

Im about to upload a Mozart Concerto with Marcellus performing in a few minutes. It’s live with Lorin Maazel conducting. I’m listening to it it now and it sounds like a smaller orchestra than the one we are used to hearing from the Szell recording. This sounds really, really good!

Hi Dave--THANK YOU!! I'm still loving the performances you posted a few years ago, and these'll go right into my iTunes Vault as well. Do you happen to know what bitrate you're able to post them at? (probably doesn't matter, just curious.)
thanks again.

I have no idea how to even tell. I just make the simple videos on my computer and then upload them.
