Hi,
I have just been given a Bravo synthetic reed for my birthday, and I'm really hard pressed to find anything wrong with it. This synthetic one seems to do pretty much everything that my best traditional reed does, and is kind of more consistent and easier to play.
I wondered if anybody else had tried them? I really like the new reed, and am slightly worried that I might be missing something important about traditional reeds if I just abscond entirely over to synthetic ones.
Thanks!
Sunny

Just looked at the reviews on their own website and one stated that "it was not good enough for a solo concert but would work for an emergency back up." Then went on to say that "it doesn't sound plastic like.....," and proceeded to list all other synthetic to include Legere.
Personally I'll wait for further success stories from a wider swath of players.
