 Albert system clarinet ID help
Author: Curinfinwe

Hi everyone,

I found this clarinet at an antique store for $30, so I decided to take a chance on it.
It's hard rubber, and completely unmarked except for "FRANCE" in tiny print at the top back of each joint. The mouthpiece with it is also completely unmarked and hard rubber.

It needs new pads and some corks, but overall it's not in terrible shape. I can play it a little bit and it seems like it's pitched at about 442, but it's so leaky it's hard to tell really! I'll fix it up when I have some time, but if anyone recognizes the FRANCE or has any ideas I'd be interested to know. I know it isn't worth anything but if it turns out to play alright I'll try some klezmer on it.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like a nice one for $30.
Tough to attribute a maker though.
