 Reperatoire for 2 bass clarinets?
Author: HANGARDUDE

Apart from the Rite and John Adam's City Noir, are there any other pieces in the reperatoire that requires 2 bass clarinets?
As some of you know I mainly play on a German bass, I'm seeing how frequent will I need to have a decent French bass to blend with the other bass clarinet player.

The 3rd clarinet in Schoenberg's Pelleas and Mélisande doubles on bass clarinet and occasionally needs to blend with the principal bass.
