Keep in mind this review was written by a woman, who, in a Tanglewood review last summer, thought Tchaik 5 started with a Bass Clarinet solo, and could not tell the difference between a Flute and a Clarinet in the slow movement of the Tchaik Violin Concerto.

At only 43, Frost is getting bored of playing the standard concertos. Quoted from the article:
“I’ve started to look back at my career from a point in the future,” he said in an interview in New York following his Mostly Mozart appearance. “When I’m 85 what will I think I did with my life? I wouldn’t be proud that I’d done 1,200 Weber concertos. I need to shake myself around and be brave enough to develop new ideas.”
