Noblet experts... care to explain all the many differences in the models? I've done searches in the archives but can't find really anything too helpful. It would be great if someone could clear up the questions about...
Noblet Special
Noblet 27
Noblet 40
Noblet 45
The oval marking
The Diamond marking
The newer marking And any other Noblets I've missed.
Can someone explain the differences, right here?
Noblets are all intermediate clarinets, but people seem really like them. I've heard they have good intonation, a very dark sound. But they tend to sell for next to nothing.

Interesting... But is there a difference between say the 45 with a diamond emblem and the 45 with the newest emblem? Or the 40 with different emblems?

emblems - you can call it an evolution in a sort. You can notice slight variations in keywork over time too. But then even in one particular model, say the model 40 with the rounded square emblem you can see use of minor variation differences in keywork.
This of course excludes any (potential) evolution/changes in the bore or toneholes.
they sell for next to nothing because they are an intermediate clarinet and there are tons out there. supply & demand.
FYI, this page is much more up to date about the Noblets
