It's almost certainly all plastic and has been textured on the outside to simulate wood grain. The white pad in the register key of the Bundy is probably not a skin pad either (it might be, but probably not). It's probably a synthetic pad meant to be water repellent, which makes it similar to the cork pad in the other one.
Play the one you're more comfortable with. If you want to be sure, have the Bundy serviced and see if there's any improvement that flips you more toward it. Otherwise it sounds like you're happier with your result using the Noteworthy, so use it.
