I have no idea which clarinet is the best (that I have right now)
Currently I have two Bb Clarinet.
I have a Noteworthy Clarinet (cheap 100$ brand)
Owned it for 2 years.
I also have a Used Bundy Student Model Clarinet (got as a gift from someone moving away)
Owned it for ??? years (bought it as used, so.. it might be a bit cranky)
Here's my situation, I'm in concert season at the moment in high school, and it's very hard to choose which clarinet is best to use.
Both of the clarinets are clarified to by somewhat hybrid of plastic/wood.
I have my Noteworthy right now, and the texture of the clarinet is wood on the outside, but it has a plastic feeling to it on the inside.
The Bundy Clarinet was verified by the previous owner that it was synthetic plastic, but said it has the sound of the wood (lol, I have no idea)
Now the details.
When I play my Noteworthy, I feel more louder/my tone quality feels like it's existant.
However, when I play the new (to me, lol) Bundy clarinet, I feel like I need to blow a bit more air to achieve the same status as my Noteworthy.
I have no idea if it's just I'm used to my Noteworthy or not, but another detail that makes me dislike my Noteworthy is that it underwent one marching season (halfway through the winter) and I was foolish enough to believe my Noteworthy was somewhat wood. Which is why I'm afraid if that sort of weather affected my Noteworthy or not (permanently).
So, which clarinet do you think I should keep up with?
(Bonus Question: The Register Key Pad on my Noteworthy is cork, unlike the Bundy where it's pad is like a regular white pad. Weird o_o)

Keep the one you think that is better in tune, you like the sound, and you feel more comfortable to play wth.
They are both made of plastic anyway.

It's almost certainly all plastic and has been textured on the outside to simulate wood grain. The white pad in the register key of the Bundy is probably not a skin pad either (it might be, but probably not). It's probably a synthetic pad meant to be water repellent, which makes it similar to the cork pad in the other one.
Play the one you're more comfortable with. If you want to be sure, have the Bundy serviced and see if there's any improvement that flips you more toward it. Otherwise it sounds like you're happier with your result using the Noteworthy, so use it.

According to Amazon.com, the Noteworthy clarinet is made of "grenaditte." a "patented combination of twelve man-made materials," developed by Taiwanese flute maker Geofrey Guo. (For more info, Google "grenaditte" and/or "Geofrey Guo" without the quotes. At the present, both seem to be more commonly associated with flutes, piccolos, and head joints than clarinets.) According to what I can find, grenaditte is not sensitive to weather changes so you need not worry about using your clarinet outdoors. Play the one that works best for you but, if the Noteworthy is getting the job done, I wouldn't spend much on having the Bundy repaired.
