Allan,
Does a reverse taper (like moenig or Chadash) give a darker sound, or does this just give a more compact sound?
Have you done any tests to measure whether a thicker barrel gives more strength to the lower partials and/or reduces the strength of the upper partials?Or is it all at the mercy of the Grim reamer?
