 mouthpiece case options

I have one mouthpiece case I got from that auction site that holds 16 mouthpieces\barrels and is a metal case, something like a gun case. It is full...

I can no longer find these cases and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get cases for multiple mouthpieces that are sturdy, reliable, and not crazy expensive?

I looked on that auction site just now and found a lot of affordable plastic pistol cases. Also, you are in Texas, so I assume you can get gun cases rather easily at your local Sporting Goods stores.
I have a plastic pistol case for mouthpieces (holds about 8 I guess) and it has lasted me over ten years. Well worth the $15 I paid for it.

You might want to check with some of the mouthpiece makers who sell their wares on this site and ask them where they get their cases. I know Walter Grabner has some nice cases for displaying and transporting his pieces, so you might want to ask where he got them. You can see them in a photo on his site under the Mouthpiece section. Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but it never hurts to ask. :)

Anybody who's filled up a case that loads 16 mouthpieces/barrels is a worse parts junkie than I am. Golly, that makes me feel so much better about justifying my next fix, oops, I mean purchase.... [tongue]

Hi Nathan

For mouthpiece cases I use plastic fishing tackle boxes. As luck would have it the standard tackle box has six compartments, each the size of a mouthpiece.
They are light, sturdy and cost only a few loons.
(I just bought a house and when I moved I threw out half a dozen of these tackle boxes because they had sat around unused for years.)

YES, I use the fishing tackle boxes also. I slip short pieces of bicycle innertubes over the end to protect the tip and keep them from rattling around.

Walter Grabner cases for displaying and transporting his pieces have been made by Sue Raycraft (susieray on this list)
