Hi Peter. Who is making your D clarinet?
Regarding a possible 7th Molter D clarinet concerto, this is the post I sent to earlyclarinet:
"Re: Molter Clarinet Concerto manuscripts
Peter asked "Do any of you know where the manuscripts for Molter's 6 clarinet
concertos are held? I'm looking to locate them for a performance project."
When I was at Yale I produced a performance edition score of the 6th Molter
Concerto for D clarinet (Concerto 34, MS. 332 in D major) with realized figured
bass. Since I had to get a copy of the manuscipt from Karlsruhe, I was in contact with Klaus Hafner, director of the Music Division of the Badische Landesbibliothek in Karlsruhe, where the Molter manuscripts are housed. He indicated that he had found fragments of a 7th Molter D clarinet concerto. This was in 1992. If you are in contact with Mr. Hafner you might want to ask him if any more has been found of this 7th concerto."

Simon,
Would you mind sending me contact details off line? Also I would be interested in your edition of the 6th Concerto.
Steve Fox said he would make me one from pear wood as it's a little cheaper but I just don't have the spare cash at the moment what with the way things are. If a load of work turned up that was worth it financially then I'll ask him again and put in an order.
