 Stravinsky Three Pieces

For those of you familiar with the search function, there is a treasure trove of information on the Stravinsky Three Pieces. I looked at many of the 85 hits and learned a tremendous amount (esp. from the Mazzeo articule). I couldn't find a clear consensus, however, on what edition/notes one should actually play. My question is: What is the best edition to use? The new Chester is obviously out and maligned by many as being full of mistakes. Ken Shaw mentioned the Charles Neidich pointed out as many as fifty mistakes in a student's part- how do inquiring minds find out all these mistakes? I am trying to get ahold of the old Guy Deplus recording, but supposedly that even has a mistake. I have an old International edition with phrasing marks from someone who played it for Stravinsky, but it is lazy to rely on just that. Is there an errata sheet somewhere out there for the international or chester editions? Has there been any update on the scholarship for a true "urtext" edition? More to the point- what the #$^& edition do I memorize for competitions?

Just checking to see if you read David Niethamer's posting and Tony Pay's four additional responses in the klarinet mailing list archives:
