 ICA membership
Author: clarinets1

Hi all.
I just got a notification that my membership to the ICA expires in five months. is there a reason that they warn members with so much lead time? just seems strange to me.

I have heard that there is a glitch in the system and they are working to fix the problem.

I notice that my driver's licence also uses "expiry"
[rotate] Why not expiration? What is with the Y on the end? (Seinfeld imitation)

Back on topic...I figured it was just a means of maintaining cash flow.

Mine does actually expire 12-31-06, but why do they ask us to renew at the beginning of October? I find that a little strange...

Well, my assumption is that everyone already got the e-mail, but it was a glitch in the system and EVERYBODY got an e-mail stating this. Mine doesn't expire until March. No worries. Computer problem.

I got one and my membership expired a year ago! I'm really behind....or they are.

They sent an apology out saying they were working on the "technical difficulties with the membership renewal reminder system". The reminders were intended for everyone that has an expiration date of 12-31-06.
