This maybe a bit off topic, but I personally would not recommend Jimmy Yan for custom work. I asked him to install a metal tenon reinforcement cap (like on the prestige Buffets) on my Bb R-13 years ago and he did a horrible job and almost messed up my instrument. I can only tell a tech so much and most of it is up to their knowledge and skill to get it right. The price was relativly low of under $50, but it was not worth it. The metal cap was not made nor installed correctly so that the bore ended up not matching correctly, and workmanship was poor. When I asked about the sloppy work afterwards, he only managed to adjust very little, which did not improve things. Had to have it done somewhere else to get it right. I never go back there anymore.
