 Can new and or Harder reeds make your Emboschure move? Curious if any one has noticed this.

 If your reed is too hard, then there may be a tendency torwards biting.  There is always a balance of embouchure resistance and air.  You can't use all air and expect a good tone.  To provide resistance, usually, you need to snug the mouthpiece and reed against the lips with your right thumb.  When a reed is too hard, though, this isn't enough and "biting" or using jaw pressure, can be extremely tempting.  Don't bite.  Period.

PS:  I've been balancing new reeds with the ATG system RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX so they aren't vibratingly unevenly as they are broken in.  Seems to help reed longevity quite a bit.
