Hi --
I'm an adult beginner -- started last November. I'm also a clarinetist, but I really am drawn to the oboe in a way that I have never been to the clarinet, even though I've played it for (hmmm . . . can it really be that long?) 47 YEARS!! (hopefully not just one year 47 times). I'm a community band player, too.
