"Do you think a clarinet/flute repairer would be able to recork it?"
If they can fit tenon corks on clarinets and replace sax crook corks (and do a good job of it) then they should be able to recork a cor crook with no trouble. Again they'll need the top joint to be sure it's fitting well - it should go in half way without any grease, and once greased it should still be a fairly tight fit so it doesn't turn or wobble (which will make it leak) while playing.
When recorking and fitting cor and d'amore crooks, I usually mount the crook on a mandrel held in a bench motor chuck, then sand the cork down while the crook is spinning to get it even, testing it in the crook socket to be sure it's sanded to the correct thickness.
