Hello, everyone. I've just discovered this forum, and this is my first post. I'm currently shopping for a new oboe. I've been most impressed by Howarth and Covey oboes. Does anyone here play either? If so, I have a handful of questions I would like to ask anyone with experience on either of these instruments.
Oboe shopping nowadays is really a pleasant experience, just because there are so many excellent makers. Howarth, Marigaux, Loree, Rigoutat, Fossati, Buffet, Patricolla, Bulgheroni, Josef, Yamaha, Covey, Laubin, Fox... what a selection!
