 How to play Pungi (Indian Snake Charmer)?

A couple of my friends returned recently from a trip to India, and brought me a Pungi, the instrument used for snake charming.
I'd like to learn how to play it and besides using the old and tested trial and error method of exploring the instrument, I wonder if someone can give me fingering charts and other hints and tips.
Any suggestions?
