Years ago I ordered oboe/english horn can from Don Plesnicar and John Hayden. I doubt Plesnicar is around anymore (or at least not selling cane anymore). Not sure about John Hayden though. I ordered tons of cane but I'm running low now and I don't know who to order from anymore. Stuart Dunkel maybe? Also can't decide on what type of cane (Duste, Glotin, etc.) or tubes to order (I currently have 47 mm nickel/silver Glotin tubes). This can be a difficult question to answer though because everyone has a different opinion and can also depend on the type of oboe you have, the type of sound you want, and how you play. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions though. It has been years since I ordered cane and tubes.
