Just a quick one...
I need to order some reed making equipment for studio class (it's all happening now!) and would like some quick advice on which knife to buy.
I have a Rigotti bevelled knife which I have been using just to adjust, but I suspect I am going to need something better for actual reed-making, perhaps double-hollow ground? Mr Dee lists brands such as Ando and Landwell. I am also on a slight budget as I need to buy other equipment.
Also, I have an extra fine diamond stone, but if there is a particular stone that works better with suggested knives, I'm happy to take advice!
Thanks,
Rachel
