 How Embarrassing?!

I'd like to hear some of your stories. Not just any old stories though...embarrassing ones...that hopefully are quite funny too!

I'll start you guys off by telling mine.

I was playing in a Chamber Orchestra on principal oboe desk. We were playing the introduction of Schubert's 4th Symphony (The 'Tragic') and the piece starts with a loud C minor chord that eventually fades out into the rest of the intro. Our conductor said that when we play this chord we should think of a very destressed man. We started off and I stupidly forgot to take my thumb off of the thumbplate...so I managed to play a B' in the middle of a forte C minor chord. Ouch! I was definitely thinking of a distressed man, indeed. I didn't even realise it was me until we stopped to see who it was!
