Help! Don't know what I have.

Hello everyone, first time on here. I have a brass clarinet coated in silver with a wooden mouth piece. The name on the instrument is American Scholastic, University Model, serial number D57? , a four diget S/N. I thought that all Clarinets were either wood or plastic? My daughter plays and she said it has the keys of a standard Clarinet but mad of brass. I looked through the post, etc and find anything on it. Any help would be great! Thanks
