 RE: C Clarinet

I am using the AKG 419, I have a wireless and a wired version. My only thought is, on the C Clarinet the lenth of the little gooseneck is great. I'd like to get a longer one for the Bb which would also work on the C. This mic works great without a compressor but with a compresser the volume totally evens out. I think this is the only viable mic system for a giging klezmer. The Shure mic is a little on the heave side, I play double lip and I notice an ounce or two clipped on my bell. SDA have a clarinet mic, that uses two elements. But I play Flute, Sop Sax Bass Clarinet C, Bb clarinet on concerts and I can't use my stands with that mic. It does sound nice though.
