I wish I could help you Tom!

I do know that some Finns play folk music on clarinet. The usual repertoire is waltzes and schottisches, humppas, polkas, and other couple-dance type stuff. I also know that they, in "the olden days," played primitive clarinets made from rolled birch bark. The relation here is that the Finnish and Estonian languages are very close, but I have no idea about their folk music!
