(original version)
Reed 1- Flute/Picc
Reed 2- Flute
Reed 3- Clarinet
Reed 4- Clarinet
Reed 5- Bass Clar. and Tenor Saxophone

Has anyone ever played Reed 3 in this musical? Or any of the books? Any general info would be greatly appreciated as we may be doing this in the fall! Please include any opinions or thoughts you may have about it.

Thanks in advance!

I never did the show, but my high school did it my freshman year and they used only Reed 1, with a rhythm section. It sounded fine. The tunes are fresh and fun.

I played it for the local high school this year. There were two woodwinds.
One was flute only. I played alto sax and clarinet. It was a fun show with good music.
