Hi Mike. Thanks for the prompt response to my inquiry. Yes, you are generally correct about the Rubank. I have the Advance Books 1 & 2 for Saxophone and Oboe and they are almost identical. Just a few small differences here and there in the notation. I find the Saxophone Selected Studies really heavy going but yes. high Es and Fs are good. It's just that I'm getting a little tired in my old age (71) and a bit lazy as well :)
