If it's like the Rubank Band Methods, the saxophone and oboe versions will be identical. High Es and Fs are good for you, and you will need to be able to play them with facility in a lot of band, orchestral and chamber music. I now only wish I had played more etudes requiring F sharps and Gs, as well.
