I worked on a Marigaux recently, but it was a 910 (German spec).

I'd be inclined to say the chances are it has been cleaned out and that's what is making the difference. If there was anything in there you'd have more trouble with the A.

The upper 8ve vent on Marigaux oboes is larger in diameter to the lower one, so this will have the tendency to make the A hiss as A is the lowest note the 8ve vent has to cater for - it's really best around B and C, and A is at it's lower limit (and the lower 8ve is best around F and F# - E is at it's lowest limit and G# is at it's uppermost).

I think as you've been used to playing it over time as it gradually built up with mineral deposits, it's now going to play differently since it's been cleaned out, making the A hiss more noticeable.

But one thing you can do without taking it apart is with the top joint only, close all the holes and block the end with your right hand. Then blow into it with the upper 8ve key held open and then suck all the air out, again with the upper 8ve open. If there is anything in the vent this will dislodge it (and a good way to get water out the vents as well).
