I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and you're happy your purchase!

But definitely play it in gently for the first few months. I've got a couple of grenadilla S5 cors on my bench at present being finished. The cocobolo and kingwood pro cors (either in S5 or XL form) are hard to let go of as I can't resist trying them out after I've finished them. Though I didn't finish the one you bought.

The S6 (which I like to call the 'Essex') is a narrow diameter bodied full Gillet conservatoire oboe giving a lighter weight alternative to the S5 which put on weight in the '90s. Kinda like the older S5 - I wonder if the S6 will be offered in kingwood or cocobolo?
